Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

ATHENA, operated by Aletheon, routes AI queries to the smallest capable model and reports the energy each query used. This policy describes what we collect, how long we keep it, and your rights.

What we collect

Account data, your email address and optional display name. Usage metadata, for each query: the tier used, model id, token counts, compute units, estimated energy and CO₂, latency, and timestamp. Query content, the text of your query and the model's response, subject to the retention and exclusions below.

High-stakes queries are never stored

Queries our router classifies as medical, legal, financial, or mental-health are processed to generate a response, but their content is not stored, we retain only non-identifying metadata. We also never write query or response content to our application logs.

Retention

Query logs are kept with full metadata for 90 days, then anonymized, your account and API-key linkage is removed, for up to one year, after which they are permanently deleted. Anonymized, aggregate totals (e.g. network energy saved) are retained indefinitely and contain no customer data.

Payments

Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details; Stripe holds them under their own PCI-compliant terms.

Approximate location

The impact visualization estimates your rough region from your browser's timezone only. This is approximate, is used solely for display, and is never sent to our servers or stored.

Your rights

You can access your data in the dashboard and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion immediately cancels your subscription, revokes all API keys, and anonymizes your records. To exercise any other data right, contact privacy@aletheonsolutions.com.
